C. Mark DeGaetani - President/Partner/Writer/Producer

Mark was born in Manhattan, the son of renowned mezzo soprano Jan DeGaetani. He began acting in junior high school and soon thereafter discovered an affinity for the written word. Mark has produced/directed several television commercials and a documentary, and he has just released his debut award winning short horror film, The Dollhouse, which he wrote, produced, and directed.

The Dollhouse was an Official Selection of the 2007 Terror Film Festival where, guided by Mark's intuitive direction, child phenom Christina Barlas (just six years old, in her first role) won "Best Actress" for her remarkable performance as Lilly White.

The Dollhouse was also screened as a finalist in the "Best Horror Mini Short" award category at the ShockerFest International Film Festival 2007, where Ms. Barlas was also the recipient of the "Rising Star" award. Additionally, The Dollhouse was an Official Selection of the Atlanta Horror Fest 2007, the Spooky Movie Film Festival 2007, the Sacramento Horror Film Festival 2007, the Thriller! Chiller! Film Festival 2007, and the Audience Choice Awards Film Festival 2007.

Catherine Hardwicke (Thirteen, Lords of Dogtown, The Nativity Story) has recently attached to direct Mark's feature screenplay, Shades of Grey. Marty Katz (Titanic, Reindeer Games, Imposter, The Four Feathers, The Great Raid) is producing. This project is currently financing and is expected to go into production in 2011.

Two of Mark's other screenplays are currently in development, and he is expected to make his feature directorial debut next year with legal thriller, Relevant Conduct.
